Film Camp

The Film Camp is an ongoing initiative of the Harmony Film Festival held annually at the serene settings of the Yerrinbool College just an hour south of Sydney.

The camp provides training and networking for budding filmmakers as well as offering a relaxing country retreat for professional filmmakers.

In 2005, 2006 & 2007 a fabulous array of speakers attended including: Director/Producer Peter Butt, Hollywood Actor/Narrator Nick Tate, UNSW Film Studies Lecturer Dr. Michelle Langford, Writer/Director Mojgan Khadem, Emmy award winning editor Ken Zemke and many others.

During the two-day camp you'll have the chance to polish up your skills as well as gain an insight into other aspects of filmmaking in creative sessions offered by industry professionals.  You will also have a great opportunity to meet and get to know other filmmakers from across the country in a weekend packed with workshops, great movies and activities!

You'll need to be 15 and over to attend (parental consent required for people under 18).  Costs for the two days including food and accommodation: $170 per person or $70 per day visitors. You can get to Yerrinbool by car, bus or train, click here for directions and all details.

The date for the next film camp will be announced later on our website so hang in there filmmakers and we hope to see all then!
